Summertime is all about fun. But with that fun, there are also lots of opportunities to learn new skills, such as building leadership skills, independence, and self-esteem.

UHCC summer camp will concentrate more on having fun and staying active with learning games and physical activities of all levels.

Summer Camp at Tomahawk Lake is spectacular & entertaining for young adults and children alike. The park's grounds come complete with everything a family could ask including a miniature golf course, Softball field, horseshoe, and volleyball areas, an old-fashioned picnic area, and a white sand beach featuring an incredible lake, parking, beach, swimming facilities, Papoose Land, Kiddie Water World, Cherokee Corner, water slide rides, swan boats, duck boats, paddle boats, and bumper boats. Children will be swept away by all the activities offered.

Every group is different, and every day is different as well. Good counselors have a bag of tricks for the various personalities, disabilities, or weather conditions that they come across.

Focusing on leadership skills will broaden youths' horizons and to gain skills that will be useful in their daily lives.

Each individual will be assigned to their most convenient Camp Location. Please submit our letter of acceptance if accessing our services through PerformCare. When applying through PerformCare: Be sure to note if the child needs a 1 to 1 aide and that the application is for a two-week (10-day) camp.
