Insight Speech and Swallowing Therapy was established to provide personalized evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to individuals in South Jersey.

Work with us at our office location in Cherry Hill, NJ: In-office sessions are great for a quiet, focused environment and to get out of the house. We also offer group sessions and support groups.

Therapy at home provides practice in your everyday environment. This is a great option if coordinating transportation to and from appointments is difficult. We service within 30 minutes of Cherry Hill, NJ.

Tele-therapy provides speech therapy right at your fingertips. This is a great option if you live farther away or would like to have follow-up check-ins. Serving those in New Jersey or Pennsylvania.

Sophia Apgar, M.A. CCC-SLP

Sophia is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She received her master’s degree from Montclair State University and is experienced across multiple settings including acute care, acute rehab, skilled nursing, and middle/high school.

She formed Insight Speech and Swallowing Therapy LLC after seeing a need for continued care as patients returned home. Sophia believes rehabilitation of speech and swallow function does not stop when you are discharged from the hospital or rehab and that the home and community settings are functional and practical places to continue your rehabilitation.
